TimeToy3xtreme is the latest incarnation of the monstrously popular TimeToy time manipulation software for Mac O SX 10.3 or later.
TimeToy3xtreme lets you:
add neat time-stretching effects to your audio files: stretch a file to 10000% its original length without changing pitch to create fascinating new sounds
create odd tempo changes in a soundfile (with a speech sample, you can make the speaker sound drunk :-)
musicians: slow down that tricky musical excerpt to find out exactly what notes are being played
make detailed tempo changes to an audio recording, for example to tighten up a musician's performance, while maintaining excellent sound quality
This new version was rebuilt from the ground up so that the latest time manipulation algorithms could be implemented. Users now have a choice between an improved Granular mode and the new Spectral mode, which offers much higher sound quality at low stretch ratios.
